Sarah Molinari
Sarah Molinari is an anthropologist and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Extreme Events Institute at Florida International University, where she is working on a Mellon Foundation project on race, resilience, and climate justice in South Florida. Sarah’s research centers around lived experiences of debt and disaster recovery processes in Puerto Rico. She has served on the Executive Boards of the Puerto Rican Studies Association and the Latin American Studies Association-Puerto Rico Section and currently is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of a public anthropology project called Home/Field. Her scholarship appears in both academic and popular outlets, including Souls: A Critical Journal of Black Politics, Culture and Society, Society and Space, Alternautas, Aftershocks of Disaster: Puerto Rico Before and After the Storm, and Anthropology News. Sarah worked at the Center for Puerto Rican Studies as a Research Assistant and Oral Historian from 2010-2014.
